Oh my goodness, this song was popular when I was in grade school! I remember it being played at my 8th grade dance, what a memory! Thanks so much for this, NYC does sound interesting. I live in a rural community and have all my life. I love the small town atmosphere and the peace and quiet I experience when I sit outside on a warm summer’s night. I can still sleep with my windows open…for now. But, I do think it would be great to visit NYC.
Thanks for sharing this and bringing to mind a fond memory!
That is what NYC is all about. You will be walking down a street and something will happen. These guys are great. I do not believe that the sound was recorded at the performance because the quality is too good and there is no traffic noise. They should submit this video to Make A Star, which is an online talent contest which has an acapella section. I am sure that they would do well.
How fun Christina!
It’s too late to think and these guys make me happy! ๐
Love it!
Like I said, Rick and I need to come visit. I’ll put him and his sax on a street corner, haha, what do you think?
These guys rock!
I think Rick would sell some CDs and make some cash. ๐
One of my favorite songs!

In many ways I am a big city girl with a small town heart … sleeping with the windows open sounds lovely! ๐
I’ve never been to NYC but I certainly enjoyed this video. Thanks!
I’m glad you enjoyed it! ๐
