Diane at Theology for Girls, has written a beautiful piece on Christians living with chronic illness. As someone who has lived with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, and endocrine disease for nearly half of her life she is uniquely qualified to share. What strikes me about her post is the reminder that one can never know the pain someone else is enduring based upon appearance. On the outset things may seem just fine but underneath the surface is a different story.
If you, or someone you love, suffers from a chronic condition, I pray you take heart in the lovingkindness of a faithful God who divinely orchestrates every circumstance of life, even the bad ones, for His divine purposes. As Diane states in her post, “When God does one thing, He’s doing many things at the same time.”
You can read the whole thing here.
Thank you Christian, this was so encouraging. I know so many people who need to read this!
