The quality of this video is not so great but if you have time, watch it anyway. I’m always struck — not just by this woman’s wisdom but the gentleness of her soul. If I never to get to meet her this side of glory, I sure look forward to spending eternity with her. If you’ve ever wondered “Why me, Lord?” or questioned God in your affliction, Mrs. Tada is here to tell you that suffering, as she so eloquently puts it, “can be a bruising of a blessing if it really pushes us into the arms of Christ.” If you don’t already subscribe to Joni’s ministry, visit “Joni and Friends” where you can learn more about her service to the disabled. I bless God that this precious saint is my sister in Christ.

Joni’s book was such a huge inspiration to me Christina when it first came out in the 70’s.. I was saved the night I broke my neck which was 4 years after her accident. In God’s soveriegn plan I lived without paralysis. John MacArthur’s wife Patricia also broke her neck in a car accident some years ago (Joni attended their church) – Joni was a great comfort to Mrs. MacArthur during that difficult time I was told by a mutal friend. The Lord has certainly blessed that work over and above what anyone could have dreamed of.
Thank you for posting this.
Joni is such a blessing. Thank you for sharing this video, truly! 🙂
Thanks for sharing this. I enjoyed watching it and was deeply touched. Great to see a glimpse of her day to day life! My seminary started offering a class called “theology of suffering” and Joni had a part in getting it going. Here is a link to a chapel message by Joni that I really appreciated. Skip to about the 6 minute mark if you want to avoid the introductory stuff. http://www.dts.edu/media/play/theology-of-suffering-joni-eareckson-tada/
